Kirkkokallio Eco-Innovation Park
Kirkkokallio Eco-Industrial Park is a business cluster practicing circular economy in Honkajoki, Kankaanpää, Finland. There the side streams of energy, water and waste are utilized. The area offers a business environment with a well-functioning infrastructure, quality services and good transport connections.
The following companies operate at Kirkkokallio:
- Honkajoki Ltd – Finland’s leading processor of animal by-products
- Vatajankoski – a new energy company in the steam and electricity sector
- Gasum Ltd – an energy company that produces renewable biogas and natural gas solutions
- Honkatarhat Ltd – grows climate certificated Vihreä Keiju brand lettuces (website in Finnish)
- Naapurin Maalaiskana Ltd – produces and sells high quality and responsible chicken products (website in Finnish)

Kirkkokallio Eco-Innovation Park is being developed by the project Northern Satakunta on the Waves of Green Transition, led by Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK), until 31 March 2026. The project is funded by the EU’s Just Transition Fund JTF and the Regional Council of Satakunta. The City of Kankaanpää is an important partner in the project.
